Apache .NET vs IIS 6.0\7.0

Hi,

Could someone give me some reasons or good source URLs why I should NOT deploy my .NET applications using Apache .NET.

The reasons I have given my boss so far are:
1.  apache not optimized for .NET
2.  .NET programmers have no experience of Apache (in general) and will be developing and deploying on 2 different servers.

Thanks in advance,
John

I am confused as why you woudl want to do this?

Anyway looking at http://mod-aspdotnet.sourceforge.net/

It appears to run just .NET 1.1 which has now even been discontinued at Microsofts latest version of IIS 7.5

So it will not work on your implied 3.x framework.

It also only works on Windows 2000 and Windows 2003.

In IIS7 the .net stuff is all taken off and can be used in integrated mode where it will work inside its own process for more efficent usage too. http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/243/aspnet-integration-with-iis7/
