Active Directory selections in administrative tools corrupt

Evey time I select any of the Active Directory choices in Administrativr Tools on my DC I get the the Windows message that "The application has encountered an error and needs to close".
Everthing works fine on the other Domain Controller.  I can access things fine if I run MMC from the run command but why can't I access it from Administrative tools?

Probably a corrupt MMC either re-install the adminpak.msi or create a new MMC snapin and overwrite the one that isn't working.

Well, I tried copying the MMC.MSC from the good DC and replacing the the bad one but it still did not work.

I am guessing from the authors last comment the re-installing the adminpak sorted it out?
