SQL server 7.0 DTS package

I have a MS SQL server 7.0. There are some DTS packages. When I try to open the DTS package, I amgetting the following error:
Error Source: MS DTS package
Error description: The system can not find the file specified.

This applies to any DTS I try to open. If I can not open the DTS (maybe they are corrupt), I would like to recreate them. Is there a way to export the content of the DTS package, so i can see what was there originally.

Thanks

you can migrate your dts packages to SSIS , I mean Sql Server Integration Services this is new version of DTS.
you have BIDS in 2008 . a great designer for SSIS packages with much more abilities than old DTS.

I think those packages created by sql server 2000 dts designer
and you must run them in enterprise manager 2000
try this and let me know the results

OK. It looks that I will have to apply SQL 7.0 SP3. I don't seem to be able to find the installation file to download. Microsoft is giving me "the run around"..!!

>>Microsoft is giving me "the run around"..!!<<
Which is not surprising, since this product is no longer supported.

Incidentally, the last Service Pack was SP4 and not SP3

Unfortunately that link points to SQL Server 2000 SP4, but the author is using SQL Server 7.

Only option, it looks like, is to upgrade SQL 7.0.

Anthony PerkinsCommented:
If you mean upgrade to SQL Server 2008, then yes that is your best option.

Reza RadConsultant, TrainerCommented:
Yes, I suggest you 2008 too, don't hesitate on this upgrade.
