virus/worm warning message by getting to a website

hello group,

I have created few pages but when I get to the website from PC with avast installed on it  I get a warning message claiming there is a virus/worm on the website:

filename: /images/spacer.gif
maleare name: HTML:Iframe-inf
type:  Virus/worm

it is interesting that there is no such a file in images/ category

1) What causes this issue?
2) How can I clean the server?

Regards,
ak

You PC in infected with HTML:Iframe-inf virus which has injected the code in your HTML files without letting you know. When you upload these files to Web-server your anti-virus detects them.

Verify JAVA Scripting inside your HTML file and look for any malicious entries or reference to URL which you don't know.
