how do i get it to run and not shut down after 10 secs on 4 bay probox smart famliy external drive?

ok ... so i need the software for it i think ... i mean the driver for the bay enclosure ... since i can not get to connect with my pc or mac ... and also it shuts down on its own after a while ... anyways can someone please direct me what to do ... ? thanks

If it shuts down by itself for a while, then look into a warranty replacement, it is bad.   Contact mediasonic or your retailer.

I looked at the mediasonic site, they don't show any downloads, and since it emulates a larger disk, there very well might not be any drivers.

looked further ... the device has a power saving mode that causes it to shut down to save energy, so you probably just have that feature turned on.

Definately no drivers, just turn off the SYNC feature (button) and it wont power off until you tell it to.  The device you have, based on the part number is nOT a raid, just a box with 4 disks in it so forget my previous response.
