put my VM disk on a portable drive

I have created a Virtual machine using VMware Workstation. Now I want to move the folder with all the VM disk file from my C driver ( as default ) to my new portable hard drive. how do I do that?

    Accepted Solution

    You can copy the Virtual Machine folder to your portable drive, Remove the current VM from inventory and then register your VM from the portable drive.
