Cannot launch ASDM VPN Wizard
I have a brand new ASA5510 with 7.0(8) and ASDM 5.0. I have noticed that when I go to the VPN wizard the "Launch VPN Wizard" button is grayed out and I cannot run it. I have connected to other ASA's with this same workstation and had no problems running the wizard on those units. The only config I have done so far is setting up the LAN and WAN interfaces (both of which are trunk interfaces - since the outside interface is a trunk perhaps this is preventing the wizard from running?) Please let me know if you have any ideas. Thanks

I know that the VPN wizard is unavailable if you have a Multiple context configuration on the ASA. The wizard is only for single context mode....
I have seen this issue and I have made it work when I have issued write erase and reload. This means that you will reset the configuration to factory default.

just an add-on to my previous post:
- The ASA had no security contexts defined
- The ASA had active/standby configuration
- The ASA had 20 VPN peers configured already
Also do you have EasyVPN configured on your ASA ?

I also faced the same issue. I was not able to login into ASDM then i removed Java Update 11 .
then it worked. I think it's bug in ASDM.
