Can you clarify what you mean?  What background and what preferences?

background as in wallpaper. We have a couple people who want to save their own wallpapers when they RDP into our server.

Should try to explain all complete steps, ex. how to access experience tab, how to get there, shortcut?  I googled experience tab to figure it out.

At first I thought you meant to right click on the RDP shortcut and select properties, but the experience tab is under Options when you initiate an RDP session.
For clarification, to Edit an RDP shortcut, as I indicated above, simply right-click the shortcut and click "Edit" from the drop down menu.
