HP 1505n installs over network but cannot print
I have installed a network printer HP 1505n on our network and all my other PCs print to it flawlesly, On a new XP machine, I tried to install the driver and it installed correctly (it detected the printer and its IP) but when I try to print the job stays in the queue. I suspected the Windows firewall which I disabled. The Port configured on the PC by the HP install wizard is 9100. Is there a potential confilct that one can think of? Netstat -a does not reveal that the port is used.
