Replicate NAS

I have a NAS that I have our business, my home, and some other locations backing up to through ftp. I was wondering how to replicate the data from the one NAS to another NAS in a different location. Thanks in advance.

Can you please provide the brand and type of NAS?

I am not familar with Synology DS109. I have been using NetGear READYNAS® 2100 which can replicate between two sites over VPN. There are also software base solutions to replicate NAS between two sites.

If you can replicate Synology DS109 locally using ftp, then the question is how to setup a network (e.g. VPN) so that the two sites can communicate with each other. You can open another question under VPN title and describe your network environment.

look at www.rainfinity.com and their RainStorage product. I believe they have what you're looking for.
check out www.hp.com they have DataCopy, its a  the real-time replication solution offered on the NAS appliances. It allows you to replicate some or all of the data from one NAS to another, as it is changing, across any TCP/IP network.
