Autodesk inventor 2009 can not find the data management services on the server

Pleae give us a little more info we need to know what type of connection are you working with is the ADMS on the same machine or is it on a sepperate machine ie server? If it is a seperate machine are you connecting remotly through a vpn or are you on the same local network.
Has this or any other connection to this server ever worked or is this the first time settup?

with only the above info I would guess that ADMS needs to be restarted on the server machine. you can do this by rebooting or you can log into the ADMS console and stopping and starting the service. After restarting the ADMS make sure you can log into the vault through the vault consoile on the workstation. Point to the servers DNS name or with the IP adress of the server again if you have two seperate machines. if this works then inventor should see the vault as well. If none of this works send us some info about your setup and we will try and help furthor.
