I want to change the height of a row in a JTable but prevent it from firing an event. Is it possible? How? I heard somewhere it should be possible to stop the firing and then turn it on.

    Accepted Solution

no you can't (and you shouldn't want to)
If you want your listeners to ignore the event then remove them (the listenner) and add it back when you want it to recieve events again
