Netgear WN802T Wireless Access Point IP Address?

Afternoon all,

Been having a litany of problems with my wireless network, mostly to do with having to relocate the router, which has caused massive dead-spots throughout the house.

As such, bought a new wireless access point to help extend the range. It is a Netgear WN802T (802.11N RangeMax). I bought it from http://www.trustedgoods.com/ so it's a refurbished piece of equipment.

The problem I have is that when trying to configure the AP, using an ethernet/wired connection I cannot connect to it. I tried the default address of This gave me nothing. I then reset it to factory defaults. Tried to connect again and it's still not recognising the IP.

The AP seems to be working well enough otherwise - it's broadcasting a strong signal and I can deduce its MAC address from that, but I am clueless as to how I can find its IP address or otherwise work out how to get inside to configure it.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

If logging in using the default IP address, the computer you are using to connect to the WN802T should be configured with an IP address that starts with 192.168.0.x and a Subnet Mask of

Spot on.

Now all I have to do is work out how to hook this blasted thing up as a repeater/range extender ... ;)

Thanks for that, should be able to fathom out the rest from here.
