active dreictory instll fails avern after running ADPREP

I am promoting a 2003 server to a 2000 domain.  I successfully ran the 2003 r2 version of adprep /forestprep and adprep /domainprep on the 2000 dc.  When I went to promote the 2003 server, I received this:

The Active Directory Installation Wizard cannot continue because the forest is not prepared for installing Windows Server 2003. Use the Adprep command-line tool to prepare both the forest and the domain. For more information about using the Adprep, see Active Directory Help.

The version of the Active Directory schema of the source forest is not compatible with the version of Active Directory on this computer.

The 2000 DC is the schema master.  It is also the only dc on the domain.

Nevermind, I found the problem. I had used the adprep version from the 1st server2003 disk instead o the 2nd.  ADPREP needs to be run from the version on the 2nd 2003 r2 disk.
