SharePoint: Recycle bin not on Quicklaunch?

My users have 'View Only' permission on the home site. All document libraries within have unique permissions.

How do I show the Recycle Bin on the Quicklaunch to the users? I see it (but i'm an admin), and they can see it in the All Site Content view...

If the user only has "View Only" how would they use the recycle bin? They can't delete anything and even if they did, they don't have contributor rights to restore it. I am assuming SharePoint "trims" the recycle bin from showing since it wouldn't make sense.

    Try giving them Contributor rights.

I agree with what you're saying, but those users can see the recycle bin under 'View All Site Content' and restore files that they have deleted.

Contributor rigths, howver did work and I can use that as a work-around to another SharePoint quirk. Thanks!
