Hi,
you probably installed a Roland USB driver, which was installed with improper rights & permissions. To solve this issue you can use Terminal or Get Info window from Finder.

The Terminal way is IMHO easier. Startup Terminal, located inside of /Applications/Utilities folder. I assume you're an user with administrator rights on the mac, because you installed the driver.

Write into the Terminal window:

sudo chown -R root:wheel /Library/StartupItems/

and press Enter. The system will ask for your password which is the ordinary password to your account. As a second step execute this:

sudo chmod -R 755 /Library/StartupItems/

and press Enter.

You need to restart your mac after this.

The Finder way:
1. Navigate to Library->StartupItems in the Finder window.
2. Right-Click or Ctrl-Click the StartupItems folder to display contextual menu
3. Select Get Info
4. Click the small lock icon on the bottom right
5. fill user & password
6. Confirm that the settings is the same as on the image
7. Click the wheel icon to open menu
8. Select "Apply to enclosed items"
9. Click OK

Hope this helps

Hello,
the best I can recommend is to contact vendor for support. However the error you've seen does not mean that the software is incompatible but rather installed with wrong permissions/rights.
