SharePoint For Change Mangament / ITIL Proccess

I am asking to Change management dept  to use utilize sharepoint for there all change management related activity.

If any body already SharePoint 2007  using for Change Management , could you please share how Change Management process happening on sharepoint?

Please provide more ideas ..thanks

As the change management/any ITIL process highly involve workflows, SharePoint  can be used for it. I would suggest to go for some custom workflows which can be developed using SharePoint designer or .net development.
There should not be any issue in implementing the change system in SharePoint.
Go ahead & talk to your developers to automate the workflows & then you are ready to enjoy the SharePoint worthiness.

SharePoint links heavily with the windows workflow foundation, so you can build everything on top of SharePoint as sushantanana suggests. There is also something that is called the fabulous 40, which are 40 application templates for SharePoint. One of them is Change Request Management so you could take a look at that as well:

yep need to develop many work flow with association with Document Library and  Remedy Application.
