Using the Exchange poweshell i cannot move a user recently migrtaed to the exchange 2010 server back to the 2003 server. The error below indicates that the database cannot be found. I have tried various paths but nothing seems to work.

the remotetraget database should not be priv1 it should be the name of the mailbox database itself.

i cannot see the name of the database in the 2010 server it is not in the database list and cannot see how to get it in the list. I cannot see another name i can use except priv1.edb. I have tried putting the server name in the formats servername.database, \\servername\database, mapped drive\database but to no avail.

Am i missing a connectuion between the 2 servers? Even though mail is flowing OK

g to the system manager in Exchange 2003 and expand the server, storage group and check the DB name

Hi

I cannot see the database in the 2010 server database list, it does list the server in the orgaizational health page.

I have resolved this by using the move mailbox command as a local move request, even though the Exchange manual says this cannot be done!!

Thanks for your help, i must do some more work on my  Exchange powershell.
