Hi all,
I'm currently working on a project which is subpart of a bigger project. I want to use CMake to generate makefiles, while the other guys in the project do not. Then I want to know if it is possible to generate CMake independant makefiles with CMake, so I can use CMake on my subpart of the project, and provide the others with makefiles they can use without installing CMake.

    Accepted Solution

CMake is actually works like the ./configuration.
    it produces a regular Makefiles.
so if you keep your Makefiles under your dev-tree the top leveled makefile can call your sub-tree makefile

    $(MAKE) -C <our_subtree>
