Outlook send receive error

II get the following and can't resolve the issue using the previous suggestions on this.

Task sbaker17@comcast.net  Sending reported error (0x800CCC92): Your email
Server rejected your login. Verify your name and password in your account properties.
Under Tools, click e-mail accounts

This is a new string, so could you point us to the previous string so we can see what you've already tried?

All the Microsoft information points to a service pack issue with Exchange.

I am a newbie so bare with me, but this is where I looked:
I entered 0x800CCC92 in the solutions search and found 88 responses. I tried solutions from many of them to no avail.
And thank you for the reply. If I could figure out hoe to link the page to this I would.

windows xp w/service pack 3
outlook 2007
I can't determine what exchange server I have to add the proper service pack, If that is the solution.

A simple change of the passsword on the comcast site and in outlook fixed the problem
