Site to Site Vpn Connection ? Linksys and Sonicwall ?

is it possible to setup a site to site vpn with a linksys wrt54g and a Sonicwall Nsa 240? If so any guidance would be great.

I believe the wrt54g does VPN passthrough but no VPN support.  You have to have a VPN router to do a site to site with 2 routers.  The passthrough just allows VPN packts from a server through.  If you need a site to site, buy a different router.

can I do a client connection straght to the Sonicwall ? which otu having a vpn server on the corporate side ?

Yes you can.  Most sonicwall devices come with atleast 2 group VPN licenses.  Download the Global VPN Client from Sonicwall at http://help.mysonicwall.com/Applications/vpnclient/  and configure the group vpn in the vpn section of your device.  You will also have to create a local user and give them the desired rights on the router.  Once that is done configuring the Global Client is easy.  Put in the name or ip address of the sonicwall and the login information you created.  Note you will often have to log in twice with the client.
