Menus in outlook 2007 changed from English to Italian. How to change them back?

I have installed office 2007 on a new workstation to replace an old laptop for a user.  Added user from the exchange server and somehow all the menus in outlook 2007 changed from English to Italian.  How do I change them back?

Bit of history  2 years ago, user went to Italy with this laptop and outlook 2003 menus changed to Italian and the problem was never fixed&

Hi there;

Please follow my screenshots.

Best regards.

P.S. It is also good if you check the regional settings in control panel that the settings are in English.

Thanks,
however English was the default language and the only one selected?  Any other ideas?

Hi there;

Did you check for the regional settings in control panel, anything Italian?
What about adding Italian to the listbox above and removing it?
Also, can you do a system restore to a point that you are sure of settings are English?

Best regards.

Administration of Active Directory does not have to be hard.  Too often what should be a simple task is made more difficult than it needs to be.The solution?  Hyena from SystemTools Software.  With ease-of-use as well as powerful importing and bulk updating capabilities.

Hi there;

Try Tools-> Options-> tab Mail Format-> International Options. If fails:

Chack for the following link:
http://www.merawindows.com/Forums/tabid/324/forumid/89/threadid/37339/scope/posts/Default.aspx

One final thing:
View->Toolbars->Customize and Reset.

Some addons or macros may cause this but yet, I am not sure.

Well, I am out of solutions if this comment is not useful. I recommend using Request Attention button after 3-4 days if no other expert joins.

Best regards.

There are no language packs on this workstation and this is the english version of Office 07.  I just wiped the OS and reinstalled Office 2007 and created the users e-mail account from the exchange server for the 2nd time and again the menues are in Italian......

I am pretty curious about this question. How can menu items turn into Italian...

She (the user) doesn't remember what she did originally on that trip to Italy to get the menus/foldertree to be Italian in the first place...

Since the problem moves from one computer to the next (fresh profile, brand new Outlook installations, in once case even a completely wiped/reloade hard-drive), we're focusing on the Exchange '07 settings.  Clearly this is a server-based setting somewhere...

Update - changing the default language setting on the computer seemed to take care of the menus (File...Edit...View...etc.).  The Exchange server is somehow forcing the Outlook folders to Italian:

SOLVED!

Start>Run>Outlook /ResetFolderNames did the trick.
