I need to add an exitsting AD group through Domain Security Policy the right to Logon as a Service.  We are running Windows Server 2008 Core and I don't know how to do this through the command line.... would someone please help me out.  Thanks so much.

I know normally, I would go to Admin Tools, Domain Security Policy, Users Rights, Add user to Logon as a Service

    Accepted Solution

1)create an OU in your domain
    2) place the Windows 2008 Core computer in this new OU
    3) create a new GPO that allows the group the right to logon -- i.e. ...Users Rights, Add user to Logon as a Service
    4) apply (link) the GPO to the new OU
