Backstory,
Previous network support provider installed 3 of these Cisco access points (model: AIR-AP521G-A-K9).  I take over the network and it is my responsibility to change the WPA keys quarterly.  I have never used such a difficult or confusing solution for managing wireless.

So two of the devices are on the same network broadcasting the same SSID with the same WPA key for access, everything works fine.  I can access the web GUI for read-only access to these devices.  I have access to all options and tabs within the GUI but any changes made to the device in the UI are not implemented when I hit "APPLY."  The previous network supporters left me the admin credentials for the device but even when i log in with those I am unable to make changes or have the changes stick on the configuration.

When I first navigate to the WGUI it will ask for "admin" or "level 15" authentication.  I am unfamiliar with the terms and, again, the credentials left for me give me access just not the ability to make changes.  In my opinion these WAPs are overkill for my small business outfit.  But can anyone provide help or assistance with these devices?

I think I also might like to know how to reset to factory settings and reconfigure on my own.  The Cisco website was somewhat helpful in certain areas but i am unable to find solutions to my particular issues... Any input always greatly appreciated.  Thanks in advance...

Hi

to reset it ,, unplug its power supply and press and hold down on the mode button ...Keep holding the mode button until the status light turns amber ..

once you become sure it has been reset ,,

use a console cable and access its CLI console and post its running configuration

Memo- After I reset it will the WGUI be accessible if I can find the address?  Also, is there a compiler or somthing of the sort for the Config posting?

No I am not, unfortunately...  So thanks for your patience with me...
I have seen a similarly formated config file on the device, of course I am petrified to mess with it...  Mostly because the two devices sharing the same network and SSIDs have varying config statements within that file, which i thought was peculiar and due to that fact that our previous Network supporters were less competent then myself [or just lazy and greedy], but this is not the forum for that.

So, MEMO-

Could I reset the device -> use a DHCP assigned address to access the WGUI -> use Cisco Config Assistant (recently discovered) to configure the device(s)?

Are there any Default User/Passwords I should know?

The software I found is probably best for managing these devices.  The previous posts were helpful in getting the end result.
