How do I fix the code 43 error on a mouse.
I have a computer that gives me a Code 43 error on my mouse and I lose the mouse. I have tried a different mouse. I am using the Windows drivers. The mouse runs for a while then stops. Is there a way to remedy this issue?

Have you tried updating your device driver? See if there's a yellow exclamation mark next to the mouse or keyboard, in the Device Manager.

Since it is the Windows driver for the mouse, and the PC is updated, there is no newer driver. This is also happening with different brands of mice. So it doesn't seem like it's the hardware.
Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43) A Code 43 error occurs when the device relays a trouble message to Windows through the device driver. Consult the hardware manual supplied with this device, or contact the device manufacturers technical support center for information about clearing this problem.
