Volume Licensing and Activation
Hi
I am on a very tight schedule to deploy 30 Windows XP desktops. I'll be deploying 29 images of course. The problem I have is gaining the Volume License keys, there is a fault somewhere with the service, the keys are pending and will be delivered soon.
However, I'd like to setup a desktop, Group Policy it, test it and then sysprep it. My question is, can I use an off the shelf Windows XP SP3 media and license key to create the image then use the Volume License key to deploy the machines when wake from sysprep? Will this allow me to deploy the image and Activate the machines accordingly online?
Many thanks
