How can I use Google Desktop to search a particular folder set and subfolders underneath the main folder located on a network share (eg \\servername\sharename)?

I have tried using the Windows Search to find a particular ip address in several documents, but the Windows search has already failed me. The Windows Search hasn't found these ip addresses, but I have manually searched through these same documents on my own and have found documents that contain these very IP addresses that I am looking for.
