Driver needed

Does any one have drivers for a Samsung CD/DVDW, model TS-L633a?
While working on a laptop this device was uninstalled. When Vista "discovered" and installed it, no drivers were found.

Thanks.

Thank you to all who responded.
The device does not require a driver, it does use firmware, as Eirman and galuple pointed out.
I did download and install the firmware, however installation program reported that it was not compatible with the hardware. Another glitch in a "sick" little computer.
The VIsta installation was having problems, insisting that a driver was required.
The solution for this one is not elegant: The owner of the laptop has decided to disable the problem internal drive and go with an external unit.
Again thanks to you good people for your answers. Please consider this question closed.

Vista should have native driver for your Samsung CD/DVDW.

Please follow the procedure in the URL below to setup your Samsung CD/DVDW.

CD\DVD drives picks built-in drivers from Operating System.

1. Open device manager - Right click on the CD\DVD drive (It should listed under Other devices) --> Update driver -> Let me choose the driver software for this device -> Browse to the location C:\Windows\ and click next. (Note - Place a  check mark to look in subfolders too)

If, it doesn't work,

2. Open device manager - Right click on the CD\DVD drive (It should listed under Other devices) --> Update driver -> Let me choose the driver software for this device -> Let me pick the driver software from the driver list -> Select CD\DVD drives -> Compatible driver software will be listed -> Choose the driver from the compatible driver software and click next.

3. If no drivers are listed, then remove the check mark on show compatible driver --> Locate the driver through the list of manufacturers and click next to install the driver.

Also, I would suggest you to try this microsoft article - http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314060 too.

If still problem persist, Post the model no of Laptop & a screenshot of the driver listed in the update software window.
