why do i get invaild or non-existent document in lotus Notes?

Can you provide more info on what you are doing and at what stage you are getting this error?
Pls let us know the version of LOtus.

The error comes up on the replication screen when replicating the server copy of his mail file to the local copy. Replication fails at that point. I will check out the links above shortly.
I will get our Notes administrator to do a compact and if that doesn't work we will try the other options  in the links above.

Apparently, there is an essential element missing from either of the two replicas, e.g. the database icon or a form or view.

Possible fixes, test after each action:
- clear out the Replication History records and remove the last replication date
- replace the design on BOTH replica databases with the same mail template
- (backup and) delete the faulty replica and pull a new replica from the remaining one
We are in the UK and the problem is on a laptop in Shanghai. We have lost contact with laptop so will need to follow up on this tomorrow.

Sorry for delay. Many at my work, including myself, have been stuck at home past two days due to snow. As this is not considered urgent by Management, other priorities mean no further action is being taken until next week.

This is the first time I have used EE but company has used many times. Sorry if I have upset you - that was not the intention. I am happy to change to an A but don't lnow how to do this.
