AutoComplete does not save username or password credentials in Explorer 8.0

Hi Experts

I need some help with the AutoComplete function. After New Year we observe a strange issue, which have not bin a issue before.

We have a intranet. Normally is there no problem with logging on automatically is you have checked the box "remember password" but after new year all our users have to type in username and password every time the want to access this site.

I have tried some things:

Reset my explorer browser - back to default
Checked all the boxes in Autocomplete
Rested services

Without luck

We have not installed any updates recently to explorer 8.0

Our CMS provider of the Intranet has not maked any updates or changes to the system.

For information: Have tried to install Firefox. No problem with logging on to the system automatically

Best regards
Goudas

Hi,

Try the following:

IE 8 --> Internet Options --> Security --> Local Intranet --> Custom Level

Scroll down to the end. In User Authentication, Click Automatic logon with current user name and password.
Click OK twice, and restart IE8.

See if the Intranet is Accessible now.

Warm regards,
Sarang

Hi,

If you didn't find an answer to your question, as far as I knwo, you don't have to assign the points.
You can simply have your points refunded. You may refer to the EE help section for details.

If you decide to do this, I am fine with it.

The main idea is to provide the answers to your queries.

Warm regards,
Sarang
