Hello experts,

I have on my office a network with a Windows 2003 domain, using the IPs On this network I have a Peplink Balance 30 multi-wan router, using the IP for the LAN interface, it is my gateway.

Now I want install another Windows 2003 domain, using IPs like, so PCs on the new domain wont access PCs on the old domain, and vice-versa.

The thing is I need to use the same Peplink Balance router as the gateway for the new domain as well, my WAN internet connections must be shared for the two domains.
How do I do that? Can I use more than one IP for LAN interface on Peplink? (adding and to it?)

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

    HI vetrixicode

are you using ISA server in your environment, if yes than you can setup your ISA server in 3-legged architecture and configure your Peplink WAN router as external and as internal. additionally you can than configure your n/w as perimeter n/w and name it like Internal2. this way you can add as many additional n/w as you can. i am handling 4 n/w in my isa 2006 ,1 internal, i external and 2 perimeter n/w. all use single gateway (external) for internet.

Plus, if you don't want your two network to communicate each other, you can create VLAN's on your network.

Hello sheikhfahad, sorry for the late response.

I don't have ISA server, but I could install it. I've just installed Forefront Client Security on my main domain. The new ISA server is Forefront Threat Management Gateway, right? Can I install it on the same server as the Forefront client Security?

sorry for responding late i was outstation,
Yes the new ISA is Forefront TMG but i haven't tried it so far. but definitely it will have ISA 2006 features + some additional features as well. Forefront client security is a centrally managed anti-virus solution by Microsoft.  we need to look at what Microsoft says about using both at same machine (i think its like using an antivirus on isa 2006 machine).
