IE 6 to run in W7 locally

We have attempting to run IE 6 on a Windows 7 enviroment.  We are trying diligently to avoid running IE on the WXP virtual image.  Any suggestions; we are even willing to try another browser.  FF, Chrome, Mozilla does not work.  Unfortunately the developer of the web application we are trying to run only works in IE 6.

This will work on Windows 7..

http://apcmag.com/how_to_install_ie6_on_vista.htm

The Developer really needs to update his app so it works on something higher then 6.... 6 is already no longer supported and will not be available at some point soon...

FYI, this is done by using a Virtual PC, this is not native to Windows 7...  you could use

http://www.my-debugbar.com/wiki/IETester/HomePage

but it doesn't always work right.... Web site really needs to be upgraded....
