Is My Server an MSDN Installation?

In scrambling to install an operating system this weekend, I might have accidentally installed an msdn windows server 2003 iso into a production environment.  The server now wants to activate, but I don't want to activate it as msdn and deal with the possible restrictions that come from that license.  Is there anyway to verify what version is installed as it sits on the OS or by key code?  Any ideas?

Did you have to enter a product key during installation?
If you didn't then it is a volume license.

Hi,

try this software: http
www.klinzmann.name/licensecrawler.htm

it'll find all of your programs license keys, including Windows. It'll be able to tell the type of license (MSDN, Volume License, Open License, OEM, Retail etc.) and the license number used to install, so you should be set!

Cheers,
