Imported MP3 loses first half second of audio (Flash CS3)

I am importing an MP3 into a Flash CS3 title, but when I preview the library item, the beginning is cut off (about half a second).

What makes Flash cut off this piece? I'd rather not edit the source file to add silence, as I've always had success with importing audio before.  I need to understand why Flash is doing this, so I can prevent it in future tasks.

Maybe there is some problem with the MP3 file you are trying to import cuz Flash is somewhat picky with the specifics of the MP3 files...  See if the same thing happens with other MP3 files...  Also, try converting that MP3 file to a WAV file and import that to see if the same thing happens...

I was able to import a different MP3 just fine.  I was able to receive the original WAV file and imported it just fine.

I'm going to chalk it up to a problematic MP3 and keep my eye on future MP3s.  I had thought it was something I did incorrectly.

You normally have problem with the MP3 files if sampled other than 44.1khz...  That might have been the case if other MP3 files work...

If you want to verify that, you could create a new MP3 file out of the original WAV file at 44.1khz and see if it works for you or not...
