I am in the process of setting up a new exchange server. I am trying to configure my Motorola Droid to do Active Sync.

I had this working on my old server just fine which is basically an exact copy. The only difference is this is inside the firewall and part of the same domain.

It is a single exchange server configured with HTTP/RPC

When I try to sync I get this error:
this exchange activesync server requires security features your phone does not support

How can I disable this policy?

Please test your environment using the Exchange Activesync test at https://testexchangeconnectivity.com and report back the results if it fails.
If it passes, you may have to enable unsupported devices in the Mobile Services Properties (Exchange System Manager> Global Settings)

Yeah I have it working with HTTP/RPC and Netbios and that site only tests 2007 OMA not 2003 so it is not working.

I have unsupported devices enabled but I think there might be a GPO over riding that and I have no idea where that is.

Not so - the site tests 2003 as well.  If you use the Exchange Activesync test and choose manually specify server settings, don't go for the autodetect options, it will happily test 2003.
HTTP over RPC is totally unrelated to Activesync.

Nevermind, it appear to be a variety of things wrong (again). Mostly permissions were fuxored in IIS.

Thanks again dude!

PS Textexchange does work with 2003

Will do but like I said I was able to fix it. I was looked at the old exchange IIS and the new exchange IIS and mirrored the security settings
