this exchange activesync server requires security features your phone does not support on Droid
I am in the process of setting up a new exchange server. I am trying to configure my Motorola Droid to do Active Sync.
I had this working on my old server just fine which is basically an exact copy. The only difference is this is inside the firewall and part of the same domain.
It is a single exchange server configured with HTTP/RPC
When I try to sync I get this error:
this exchange activesync server requires security features your phone does not support
How can I disable this policy?

Not so - the site tests 2003 as well. If you use the Exchange Activesync test and choose manually specify server settings, don't go for the autodetect options, it will happily test 2003.
HTTP over RPC is totally unrelated to Activesync.

Nevermind, it appear to be a variety of things wrong (again). Mostly permissions were fuxored in IIS.
Thanks again dude!
PS Textexchange does work with 2003

Please run through my FAQ for Exchange 2003 and Activesync, it should get you going again.

Will do but like I said I was able to fix it. I was looked at the old exchange IIS and the new exchange IIS and mirrored the security settings
No probs - Glad you are working and appreciate the points.

I have unsupported devices enabled but I think there might be a GPO over riding that and I have no idea where that is.
