Exchange 2010 Public Folders Available via OWA but not Outlook.

We just migrated to Exchange 2010, Public Folders are available using OWA but they can not be opened using Outlook 2003 or 2007.

Error in 2007 is: "The set of files cannot be opened. The attempt to log on to Microsoft Exchange has Failed."

Error in 2003 is: "The set of folders could not be opened."

Meanwhile, Mailbox access is fine and all mail is flowing. Using Exchange System Manager I can create new Public Folders.

Any Help is Appreciated, thanks all.

That's not the issue, we can connect Outlook Just fine and open mailboxes however when any user tries to go to public folders is when they get the errors that I mentioned above.

    Accepted Solution

Called Microsoft and they fixed it. Ended up removing the 2003 "First Storage Group" and changing some old pointers to the old server that were not completely removed in ADSI Edit.

Can you add any information on what exactly you changed, I am seeing the sam issue and have legacy exchange 2003 info in AD. Just want to be careful of what I remove.
