Looking for a file monitoring utility

Does anyone know of a good file/disk monitoring utility for Windows XP ? I would like to be able to warned of any files including their names and their locations that are being saved to disk from things like software installation, temporary browser files and user saved files.

Please let me know

Thanks

For trouble shooting problems while installing/running any application we mostly use Process Monitor from sysinternal.

Here is the link : http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx

Really good tool which you can see registry and disk access in real-time.

LordArokh: Thanks for your reply. I have downloaded ProcessMonitor and now wish to know is it possible to filter out everything and view only newly running instances of a process ? Can this be done with ProcessMonitor ?
