How can i use a dtsx package from another machine

Hi

I have created and tested a dtsx package that works well in one machine. However when it is checked out by another user in another machine, I receive the following error message.

The task with the name "Transfer from Ora to Staging" and the creation name "DTS.Pipeline.1" is not registered for use on this computer.
Contact Information:
Performs high-performance data extraction, transformation and loading;Microsoft Corporation; Microsoft SQL Server v9; (C) 2004 Microsoft Corporation; All Rights Reserved;http://www.microsoft.com/sql/support/default.asp;1

AND

Error1      Error loading Oracle2SQL_Flatfile.dtsx: Error loading a task. The contact information for the task is "Performs high-performance data extraction, transformation and loading;Microsoft Corporation; Microsoft SQL Server v9; (C) 2004 Microsoft Corporation; All Rights Reserved;http://www.microsoft.com/sql/support/default.asp;1". This happens when loading a task fails.        C:\MergeSortData\SSIS_Oracle2SQL\SSIS_Oracle2SQL\Oracle2SQL_Flatfile.dtsx      1

I recieve the error below when I try to add a new Data Flow Task
Cannot create a task with the name "DTS.Pipeline.1". Verify that the name is correct.

Its a total mystery to me.

Do you really have Business Intelligence Development Studio Installed (BIDS)? This module comes with SQL Server and it's the client for development SSIS projects..
Also check the Services of your computer and verify if there is the SQL Integration Services installed

Pedro

Yes I do have BIDS , Infact I have tried using the dtsx package in another solution in the same machine as before and it fails to load and gives me an error. Has no one faced such errors with SSIS?? I dont want to redo the whole project as it takes a lot of time.

Could u explain the cause of the error, it says the
"DTS.Pipeline.1" is not registered for use on this computer.

What causes that?

PedroCGDCommented:
I never saw it, but it's better that you re-install SSIS and also install SP3... you loss less time.
