EXPERTS! on my prospect db I have a form "A" this form calls (Button with @command compose) to another db for a form B. What I need to do is refresh form A on the prospect Db AFTER I close the Form B. Form A will remain open until the user closes it. In Form A I have an embedded view that will not display unless Form B has been completed, all this works if I use the F9 key to refresh Form A, if however I can refresh form A on the queryclose of form B then I'm golden!!!

Only way is to handle this situation by saving FormA before you open FormB. While opening FormB, you need to pass the docID of the FormA doc and while closing FormB doc, based on the docID stored in FormB, you can open the doc and refresh the FormA by uidoc.refresh.
If you are looking to open the FormA and navigate to FormB without saving FormA, it may not be possible to update FormA. There should be some linkage between windows which are indeependent in UI.
If it is web, you can do it by referencing Parent URL.
    Hope the logic helps.
