    Accepted Solution

    Step 1
Log on through the Facebook home page and put your move over settings, select privacy settings from the drop down.

Click on Block List, List the person you want to block in the "Block People" box and click "Search."

Browse through the results to find the person you want to block. The more common the name, the more people you will need to search through.

Click the "Block Person" link for the person you want to block. The person will no longer be able to see your profile, and you will not turn up in the person's search results.

Is there a way to block a person so that they don't know I've blocked them?

    Assisted Solution

When you block them they won't be able to see you on facebook.... It does not inform them you have blocked them, its just as if you didn't have a facebook account... The other option would be just to remove them from your friends list or just not accept a friend invite, with that they will be able to see that your on facebook but will only see what you have in your privacy settings for non-friends....
