Server 2008 deploy print gpo not working on xp clients

I have deployed a printer via GPO on server 2008 however it is not being picked up by the windows XP clients.  I have installed the group policy client side extensions for windows xp however it is still not working !

I ended up reinstalling the server and then it worked .....
