how to move a file to direcitory after read??

how to move a file to specific directory after the program finish read the file.

dataFILE.xml   <-- data file
proccesed="/vv/jing/ed/proccesed"   <-- directory to move the dataFILE.xml to this place.

anyone know how to do? move the file to proccesed directory.

    program < dataFILE.xml
    mv dataFILE.xml /vv/jing/ed/proccesed

    thank you... just same as command type in unix platform..

    bash is a shell that runs on unix, and commands in a script are like commands typed at the shell prompt.
