Sybase Central v4.3 cannot start

Try to launch sybase central using scjview.bat? ($SYBASE\Shared\Sybase Central 4.3\scjview.bat)

Using "scjview.bat" file, you override java environment variables from multiple java installs with the correct value.

Do you have java SDK installed on your windows? What's the version?

java version "1.6.0_14"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_14-b08)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 14.0-b16, mixed mode).

I do not have SDK installed, should I ?
also there are no any old sybase installed in my computer, it's a clean new computer!

Do you have the environment variable JAVA_HOME setting in your W 7 ?
If not, try to add like example:

JAVA_HOME = c:\sybase\shared-1_0\JRE-1_3 (path of your JRE)

I had not.
I added but the problem persist.

I changed my computer last month e I installed Windows 7 - 64 bits (portuguese).
I installed the Sybase Client ASE 12.5 and it's working perfectly.

Did you already try to install in another computer ?

I am trying to use the version that comes with the server 15 that's the same as our server.
I will download the version 12.5 to make a test.

I tried to use the version 15 in the other computers and it only worked in 32 bits desktops.
