One of the drives that holds the transaction logs for Exchange 2007 isn't deleting old log files and is now fast running out of disk space I've had a look at some forums which suggest it could be a backup issue, but the backups are running fine without any issues, but still not clearing the logs file. We use Arcserve for backups and CA reckon its an issue with the Exchange server.
I've also tried to run the eseutil /ml command to check the integrity of the logs files but I get the following error message:
ERROR: Cannot open log file (G:\Exchsrvr\StorageGroup03\logfilename) . Error -1032.
Operation terminated with error -1032 (JET_errFileAccessDenied, Cannot access file, the file is
locked or in use) after 10.78 seconds.
I have run this command with the storage group offline and online, but still get the same error message.
Help would be greatly appreciated
