How do I delete a GPO in server 2008 ?

When I try to delete a GPO I get the message

Do you want to delete this link?

This will not delete the GPO itself

How do I delete it fully ?

Thanks

In the Group Policy Management Console there is a container called Group Policy Objects this is where the policies are stored.

What you are seeing is just the link to the policy for the container it is linked to.

This is normal

It sounds like you have linked a prior GPO to an OU. If you go to starter GPO or just the Group Policy field, do you see the one your trying to link their? If so, delete it if that is what you wish to do.

Sorry, had the window open for some time before I posted. Did not see that the question was closed.
