Debian start new process

When i start a new task with like "./dedicated" it will work and the process will run but after i closed the remote console the process will just get killed, i have no idea howto start it and still have a possiblity to start another processes without blocking my RCon.
Could someone help a newbe in linux?

    nohup ./dedicated &
    & will put the process in the background, and nohup will keep it running even if the calling shell exits.
    Output of the process goes to nohup.out if not redirected using > or >>
