Windows Mobile 6 - Application Error "FileDebug could not be created" on Motorola MC55

I am having trouble getting our mobile application to run on a Motorola MC55 (system info below).  The application is running on a Sybase db.  Here is the situation:
- application was loaded onto the device and successfully synced.  the app was working fine until we closed it and tried to relaunch.
- when we tried to relaunch we get this error message: "The control FileDebug ({25C953B5-5464-11D1-A714-00AA0044064C}) could not be created."

Does anyone have any insight into what this error message means and what could be the cause?
Thanks in advance.

MC55 System Info:
- Windows Mobile 6.1 Classic, 05.02.20758 build 20758.1.4.1
- 128 MB Ram
- 512 MB Flash

you need to get some error code to be able to proceed further with that error.
from the description it seems like some COM object can't be created for some reason. Have you tried to reset the device?

Thank you for the comment.  We tried a soft reset of the device and got the same error message when trying to launch the application.  How would I go about getting more information on the error code?

I assumed you could debug it, but I may be wrong :)
In general (and I'm not sure if if would give you more info, but just for sanity checks), you could use remote registry editor to browse HKCR\CLSID\{25C953B5-5464-11D1-A714-00AA0044064C} to verify where this object binaries are supposed to be, if they#re indeed at that location etc etc.

you might try to remove and then reinstall the application to see if helps.
