Can Frontpage be used to set permissions on a folder in a website it has published?  My hosting company is saying they cannot password protect a folder because it is controlled by Frontpage....that I need to go to Frontpage to change the permissions on the folder.  Does this make sense?

Thanks...Tom

If you are using FP 2002 / 2003 - you should see the folders (from the server) in the right pane.  Locate the folder you want to change the permissions of, right click on the folder and choose Properties.  Here you can now uncheck and check what permissions you need.
