Gupta SqlBase Database Disaster - need to roll logs in

Customer had a payroll sqlbase database and at end of year making the copy of the database did not occur - then they ran the processing which whiped out all the 2009 pay data - VERY painful since the copy had not occured - HOWEVER the only hope I have is that there are .log files dating back to august in the database folder - is there any hope to roll these in ????

Sorry, but AFAIK SQLBase needs a Backup, and can then apply transaction logs to that backup only. That is, it only allows for rollforward, not rollback.

Do you have a backup of the database file (or a copy of the DBS file) at any point between August and the time the data was cleared?

My answer was accurate, as long as there is no backup it is "You can't do that".

Don't know what the fuss is about if MyDanes is the one who closed the question... but if you had a backup from any time between August and before the time the data was cleared this could be rolled forward as all the log files were available, which is the reason my answer was phrased as a question.
MyDanes, hope you got it sorted.
