Alfresco Share Document preview error

I have been working on installing alfresco for a little while.  Everything works properly except for the fact that when a user uploads a file to alfresco share they cannot preview the document.  The only error that is given is a flash box stating "The preview could not be loaded form the server."  I have looked in the alfresco log file but have not been able to find anything.  GIF files work fine, cannot view csv, doc.  I am a little new to alfresco so any help debugging this will be greatly appreciated.

I am now getting an additional error.  When I try to preview a .doc file i get a screen saying:
    "This document can't be previewed.
OOO is installed and I see a thumbnail preview on the overview screen
